Virtual SOAR is an open-invitation program for domestic high school seniors who are first-generation, from limited-income backgrounds, and/or live in rural or small town areas. Designed for students who might not otherwise have the chance to explore Rice University, this program offers specific insight into specialized resources, college essay strategies, financial aid and post-graduation opportunities.
If you would like to learn more about a specific School of Study, please check back this fall to register for one of our virtual events. In the meantime, you can request a recording to watch at your convenience.
Mark your calendars! Virtual SOAR will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 29 (5 p.m. - 7 p.m. CT) and Wednesday, Sept. 30 (6 p.m. - 8 p.m. CT.).
