Rice University is pleased to host Owl About Rice (OAR), our signature open house for high school seniors, on Saturday, Aug. 29. At OAR, students will receive direct insights into our application process, commitment to affordability and academic offerings.

We want to ensure that travel costs won’t stand in the way of participation. Rising high school seniors are encouraged to apply to our Seeking Opportunities at Rice (SOAR) program, which is designed to support students who are first-generation college-bound, from limited-income families, or live in rural or small-town areas, or may face barriers to visiting campus independently.
